Consistency means quality. When we design cleaning processes to ensure this consistency, we create benchmarks to assess our performance. Our janitorial staff is not only trained to our cleaning standards and the standards of our clients, but we create custom manuals for each of our clients’ buildings or facilities. We do this to maintain consistency, whether that be for a new Team Member or for someone that might be backfilling for a Team Member that is out sick or on vacation.
Consistency also comes from the tenure of our janitorial team, floor technicians, supervisors and Account Managers. We spend more time upfront with our hiring, screening, and onboarding process to achieve less turnover than the rest of the industry. We don’t subcontract our services because – subcontracting can’t provide the consistency we measure ourselves by.
It was like a breath of fresh air when 4M took over janitorial services at our building in Kansas City, Missouri, in June of 2002. I have consistently seen cleaning done in this building by 4M that has never been done since the building opened. The 4M management team has done an outstanding job resolving any issues that do occur.
