It’s easy to say that you create value but in reality, value is difficult to create and maybe even harder to communicate. Sometimes, our value gets lost in a competitive industry where some clients view janitorial services as a commodity. The risk is that we get relegated to price and the value we bring is diminished.
There are several ways 4M creates value. We invest in our Team Members. We want our Team Members to be proud of the service they provide. To support this, we offer ongoing product and safety training; we offer hiring bonuses so friends and relatives can potentially work together; we offer incentives like Safety Bingo; recognition in the form of Good Works tickets; BSCAI Building Service Employee of the Year; Team Member of the Year; and many more!
Value at our clients’ level extends beyond the service for the price. When clients have cost constraints, we try to match up our service without compromising quality. With our years of experience behind us, we know there is no one way to propose a janitorial contract.
Change is always a consideration when it is time to put the janitorial contract out for bid. Sometimes it’s just easier to keep things as they are. However, when we put out the RFP for janitorial services, and 4M provided their response, along with a complete and detailed proposal, a clear and concise Transition Plan was provided. Not only did they submit a very attractive proposal, but the transition went flawlessly. Careful planning and execution on their part made the ‘fear of change’ non-existent. They literally delivered what they promised on everything. It made our decision to change a viable and valuable decision.- 700,000 square foot Pharmaceutical Clean Room Manufacturing Facilities
