Mitch Murch Sr. was a charter member, two-time past president, and board member of WFBSC. In this international forum, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers address problems of common concern, exchange innovative ideas and techniques, and promote the industry. Tim Murch, CEO, is also a past board member.

Mitch Murch Sr. was a founding member and served as the fifth president of BSCAI. Numerous 4M managers have attained and upheld the prestigious Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) and Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM) certifications through this organization. These certifications demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to perform at the highest. 4M is proud to have five CBSEs and six RBSMs serving our clients!

The CRI Seal of Approval program identifies effective carpet cleaning solutions and equipment that clean and protect a facility’s carpet investment. At 4M, we exclusively use products that have earned the CRI Seal of Approval, which protects your carpet investment, keeps your facility looking great, and meets carpet warranty requirements.

Green Seal offers certification for products, services, and companies that meet its standards. The Green Seal mark represents compliance with a rigorous set of criteria designed to achieve leadership levels in sustainability while maintaining or surpassing the performance and quality requirements of their traditional, non-green counterparts.

4M’s proprietary safety certification ensures accountability and recognizes 4M supervisors and managers for leading by example. 4M managers must complete extensive Basic SafePath℠ Training, pass a written exam, meet full compliance with 4M’s Accident/Incident Management and Investigation requirements, complete first aid and CPR Training, and achieve 90% or better on all safety audits at their account.

Our Vice President of Safety and Risk Management holds a Certification in Industrial Hygiene (CIH). Individuals are trained experts in Health Risk Analysis and Hazard Communication, IH Program Management, Radiation – Ionizing and Non-ionizing, Work Environments and Industrial Processes, Biohazards, Toxicology, Community Exposure, and Air Sampling.

Indoor air quality is one of the most critical environmental issues today. Diseases linked to indoor air quality include asthma, allergies, and lung disease. Under rigorous requirements, HHPC Day Certified contractors demonstrated the organizational capability and critical systems to execute day cleaning to the highest quality standards.

The HHPC Program:

The National Safety Council is a nonprofit organization aimed at eliminating preventable deaths and injuries at work, in homes, and communities through leadership, research, education, and advocacy. 4M annually tops the list of the best safety records in the industry.

4M supports many of our customers working toward obtaining Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification through the United States Green Building Council program.
